About TERRAVOLT

TERRAVOLT provides real-time visualization of energy data from various sources, helping you understand the current state of the electricity grid, renewable generation, and energy demand. Learn more about TERRAVOLT.

Dashboard Overview

The dashboard provides a quick overview of all the key metrics and systems being monitored. Each card on the dashboard links to a detailed view for that specific data category.

Navigation

Use the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen to move between different sections of the application. You can swipe the navigation bar left or right to see more options.

Plants Overview

This section shows active power plants, their generation capacity, current output levels, and maintenance schedules. You can view detailed information about individual power plants and track their performance metrics.

Demand Overview

View real-time electricity demand data, daily peaks, historical trends, and regional breakdown of energy consumption patterns.

Interconnectors

Explore energy flows between different regions through interconnector cables. The interactive map shows real-time data transfer and capacity utilization across national borders.

Grid Storage

Monitor battery storage systems across the grid, including charge levels, discharge rates, and contribution to grid stability during peak demand periods.

BMU Map

View the geographical distribution of Balancing Mechanism Units (BMUs) across the region with detailed status information and operational metrics.

Forecasts

Access short-term and long-term energy generation and demand forecasts, including renewable energy predictions based on weather patterns and historical data analysis.

Pricing

Track real-time energy pricing, market trends, and price forecasts across different time periods and regions to optimize energy trading decisions.

Grid Frequency

Monitor the current grid frequency and its stability over time, with alerts for deviations outside acceptable parameters and historical frequency event analysis.

Grid Stability

View comprehensive metrics related to overall grid stability, risk assessment, and resilience factors that contribute to maintaining reliable energy supply.

Flexibility

Analyze system flexibility metrics, demand response capabilities, and adaptability of the grid to rapidly changing generation and consumption patterns.

Constraints

Identify network constraints, bottlenecks, and limiting factors affecting energy distribution, with real-time updates on constraint management actions.

Gas

Monitor natural gas network statistics, storage levels, supply/demand balance, and the interaction between gas and electricity systems.
